Sleeping Earthed
Some researchers are postulating that autoimmune disease began to increase dramatically starting about 1960. These researchers have an unusual theory about why this happened. Their theory is that approximately in the year 1960 is when plastics began in the U.S. to have widespread adoption by Americans and Europeans, in the form of synthetic shoes and floor coverings. The result of this and a result that most people don’t even consider is that people began from that time forth to be almost completely insulated from the free electrons provided by the earth. It is now believed by some that earth’s free electrons remove static from the body, remove free radicals and remove stress. That’s why we feel better when walking barefoot on the beach or at the park. And, now there is a home use, grounded “blanket†or “pad†that lets you discharge your body’s static energy and free radicals each night while you sleep. Some people believe that this is the single best thing anyone can do to stave off autoimmune disease, that is either spend many hours outside barefoot on the earth or use one of these grounded “earthing padsâ€.
